There are numerous moderate to strenuous hiking opportunities from 8-12 miles and 2,000-3,000 feet of elevation gain. The possibilities are endless in the southeast corner of Utah. Visit one or more of these national parks or monuments:
- Canyonlands National Park

- Mesa Verde National Park
- Bryce Canyon National Park
- Canyon of the Ancients National Monument
- Bears Ears National Monument

- Many of these hikes have no reliable water sources, so carrying 3-4 liters of water in addition to The Ten Essentials is recommended.
