Scatter Peaks
Scramble to three high peaks in the Wenatchee Mountains north of Cle Elum.
Getting There
From Cle Elum drive SR-903 19 miles north along Lake Cle Elum to end of the county road at Salmon La Sac> Turn north onto Forest Road 4330 and drive 9 miles to trailhead just before the Scatter Creek ford.
On the Trail
Hike up the abandoned and overgrown Scatter Peaks Trail past tranquil wildflower meadows to Scatter Creek Pass. Head south from the pass, scramble up an obvious large ramp, then scramble to scramble up to gain the summit ridge. Follow the ridge to the summit of Scatter Peaks. A traverse past Middle Scatter Peak to Scatter Benchmark and down North Scatter Creek Trail makes a loop trip.
