Peabody Creek

A easy 8.4 mile day hike with 800 feet of elevation. Starts out from Olympic National Park Visitor's center and goes through a quiet wooded area.

The hike starts out at the Olympic National Park Visitor Center in Port Angeles. Start the hike by the picnic tables at the Peabody Creek Trailhead sign. Follow the half mile Peabody Creek Loop Trail until it connects up with the Peabody Creek Trail.  Follow the out and back trail south along the creek through the canopied forest of big leaf maples, red alders, fir, and cedar trees, enjoying the quiet sounds of the creek. It's an excellent trail for hikers and trail runners.
