Hike a loop along Shilshole  Ave NW and it's fishing and ship repair industry, then through the historic district of Ballard Ave NW with it's complement of nightlife bars and restaurants, art galleries and boutique stores and old brick buildings. Bergen Place, where Ballard Ave meets Market St NW was dedicated by the King of Norway, and Market St leads to the Ballard locks and back via 54th St NW to Shilshole Ave.
