Mount Herman
A moderate 6 mile winter scramble with 2,100 feet of elevation gain. The route follows Bagley Lakes trail to Herman Saddle and then continues on the south ridge to the summit.
GETTING THERE
Take Mount Baker Highway (SR 542) eastbound until winter closure. Park either at Mountaineers Baker Lodge or Heather Meadows parking lot.
APPROACH
Follow Bagley lakes trail past Bagley Lakes and then up towards Herman Saddle. Leave trail at last switch back to head to ridge between Mazama Dome and Mount Herman.
ASCENT
From the ridge, generally follow the ridge to summit, mostly on a south/southwestern ridge. At the summit take an eastern ridge to summit.
