Meadow Mountain (Glacier Peak)
Meadow Mountain trail is a fabulously scenic route deep in the Glacier Peak Wilderness that traverses a high alpine ridge between Glacier Peak and White Chuck Mountain. The trail follows the ridge line for miles in this seldom-visited wilderness. Enjoy awe-inspiring views of Glacier Peak, White Chuck Mountain, Sloan Peak and neighboring mountains.

Out the Ridge and Back
Hike the Crystal Lake Trail (No. 638) 1.5 miles and take the right fork at 2,800 ft onto the Meadow Mountain Trail (No. 657). Hike out the ridge as far as you wish and then head back. Meadow Lake and Diamond Lake make nice side trips.
ridge to river Loop
For a loop trip, continue on the Meadow Mountain Trail as it turns south to Fire Creek which drains into the White Chuck River. The trail turns into the White Chuck Trail (No. 643), also know as "Old Road 23." Continue to Forest Road 23 and hike ~1.5 miles of this road back to the trailhead.
