Maple Creek Loop

A 1.4 loop hike with 200 feet of elevation gain with a short side trail that leads to Maple Falls in a county park near Bellingham. Another side trail leads to a view point with views of Mount Baker.

Getting There

Drive SR-542 east 26 miles to Maple Falls and turn left onto the Silver Lake Road. Drive ~200 yards to Second St, turn left, and drive ~100 yards to parking for Maple Falls Community Park in a field on the right. Walk back on Second St to Silver Lake Road and the Maple Creek Loop Trailhead at the north end of the parking lot of Silver Lake Community Church.

  • This loop trail also connects to the developing Bay to Baker Trail.
