Lower Mad River

This moderate hike follows closely along the fast flowing Mad River from Pine Creek Camp at 1,600 ft to a ridge overlooking the valley at 2,600 ft. Wildflowers can be found in the open pine forest throughout the 8 mile round trip and 1,000 feet of elevation gain.
