Lower Goodell Group Campground
Lower Goodell Group Campground is near Newhalem in North Cascades National Park.
about the campground
Lower Goodell Group Campground is on the banks of Goodell Creek. The campground comprises two separate group camps, each accommodating up to fifty campers, but two dozen is a more comfortable capacity. The sites can be rented together so you have the whole facility for your group (recommended). There are two large picnic shelters, bear vaults, pit toilets and dumpsters with recycling. You must supply your own water. The campground is located very near Ross Dam and a warning system is in place to notify campers of high water. They can and do test the warning system!
