on the trail

"A lot of loop option exist, from short leg stretchers to all-day explorations." From Urban Trails Everett.

The park contains over 30 miles of trails that allow many varying hiking trips. From higher points within the park there are views of the surrounding Snohomish River valley and peaks of the Cascades and Olympics from viewpoints such as Devil’s Butte Lookout and along the ridge of the Pipeline Trail. With a little luck, you may observe a family of beavers busily constructing a dam.

The distance and elevation gain here are for a route from the north parking lot to the south parking lot and back. It include Pipeline Trail and the Main Trail, and it passes Beaver Lake. Some of the other possibilities include Beaver Lake Loop, West View Loop, Temple Pond, and Snohomish River.
