Little Mountain Park

Mt. Vernon city park with 8.5 miles of trails on Little Mountain east of town. Views of Mt. Baker and the Skagit Valley abound.

Community park and trail system east of downtown Mt. Vernon. The park contains a series of trails that can be combined in any number of combinations into hikes that are longer or shorter, harder or easier.  There are two main viewpoints, one looking west over the Skagit Valley and the other looking north towards Mt. Baker.  Terrain varies from flat to rolling hills to steep hillsides. Elevation gain listed is total including the various ups and downs throughout the route.
