Larch & Cup Lakes (Chiwaukum)

A moderate hike of 12 miles, 3,000 ft. elevation gain on lightly traveled paths deep in the Chiwaukum Mountains. From Alpine Lakes High Camp, stay as a guest or hire their hiker's shuttle for day hiking access to the trailheads in this area.

getting there

Starting from Alpine Lakes High Camp (formerly Scottish Lakes High Camp) take Mac's Express to the McCue Ridge #1574 Trail to  the NE corner of Chiwaukum Lake. From there join the North Fork Chiwaukum Trail to Larch Lake. To get to Cup Lake take the boot path on the west side of Larch Lake, traveling south for 0.4 miles, 350 ft. elevation gain for 

Owners Travis & Tom welcome inquiries for hiring the shuttle to transport hikers up to and from the Camp. (It is on a private road, so camp or shuttle guests offer the only means of access.)
