Put-Ins
- The Mineral Springs boat ramp is on river right at the Icehouse Campground in Klickitat Springs, located at Highway 142 mile 15.3. Camping and a toilet are there.
Take-Outs
- The Turkey Hole fishing access point is on river left, located at Highway 142 mile 4.8. There are a few other intermediate access points listed on the American Whitewater page, but these are the normal put-in and take-out.
On the River
Most of this stretch of river is class II or II+. There is one class III rapid about a quarter of a mile upstream of the take-out, Dillacorte Rapids. It is a wave train and can be seen from the road.
