Ilwaco to North Head
Paddle around the southwest tip of Washington state where the Columbia River meets the Pacific Ocean. It's a challenging sea kayaking trip that is one of our Olympia Branch's "Riptides and Rapids" paddles.

Notes
- There are several possible routes for this trip.
- If do not want to do a round trip, you can take out just south of North Head in the camping area of the state park. Parking is an issue if your take out is in the camping area.
- This is one of the Olympia Branch Sea Kayaking Riptides and Rapids paddles.
Information for Leaders
The Mountaineers has a commercial use permit with Washington State Parks for all free and fee-based outings at state parks. Leaders should carry a print or digital copy of our commercial use permit to show rangers they may encounter.
