Hurricane Hill

A moderate 3 mile day hike with 650 feet of elevation gain up to rocky open ridge with views of the Elwha Valley, sometimes even Mount Baker.

The trail in summer almost mirrors the winter route which starts at the Hurricane Ridge Visitor Center. The paved hiking trail starts at the parking lot at the west end of Hurricane Ridge Road, 1.5 miles from the visitor center.

Notes

  • This is a very popular trail.
  • There is very little cover on this route except for a small section of trees.  
  • Hurricane Ridge can have high winds at times, even in summer,  so extra layers are recommended.
