Point No Point to Kingston

Sea kayak the North Kitsap Water Trail along the northeast tip of Kitsap Peninsula in either direction. Points along this route include Norwegian Point, Point No Point Lighthouse, Pilot Point, Eglon, and Kingston's Apple Tree Cove. Or paddle one-way around Foulweather Bluff and into the mouth of Hood Canal, then past Driftwood Key.

Point No Point to Hood Canal

10.0 nm one-way, Difficulty: Sea Kayak III

A one-way paddle around Foulweather Bluff and into the mouth of Hood Canal, then past Driftwood Kay on the way to Hood Canal Place NE.

  • A minimum 4 ft tide level needed to paddle the East side of Hood Canal.
  • Driftwood Kay used to be called Coon Bay.
  • There are toilets at Point No Point but no services in Driftwood Key or at the take-out.

Kingston to Eglon
