Heybrook Ridge From Lewis Creek Road
This moderately difficult 4 mile hike includes 1200' elevation gain. Meeting in the town of Index, we access Heybrook Ridge via Lewis Creek Road, starting at the Galena gate. 750+ meters of this hike include bushwhacking through dense vegetation and other terrain obstacles, which will require you to occasionally use both hands for balance, and to test where you are stepping.

From Highway 2 in Index, turn onto Index-Galena Road and head east for 2.6 miles until you arrive at the large gravel parking area on Lewis Creek road.
