Trek Hut to Hut through Jotunheimen National Park, Norway

Trek for the day or dozens of days in the “Land of the Giants”, Jotunheimen National Park, on well marked trails that circle through its deep valleys, past intensely blue lakes, plunging waterfalls and glaciers adorning Norway’s tallest peaks. Stay in basic to full-service huts with beds and food.

Jotunheimen National Park, the "Land of the Giants", is a trekker's paradise.  More than 250 peaks over 6000 feet rest in the park including Northern Europe's two highest peaks, Galdhopiggen (8100') and Glittertind (8085').  It's a starkly glaciated landscape with numerous deep valleys and glacial lakes between the peaks.   Jotunheimen has  thousands of miles of walks and dozens of large and small huts, some run as private lodges and others as full service to self service huts managed by the DNT, Norway's trekking association.  Link various trails and walk for for half an hour, a day, a week or a month!  Jotunheimen can be reached by bus from Oslo or by train and bus from Bergen.
