Glacier Lake (Goat Rocks)
A round trip hike of 5 miles and 1,435 feet elevation gain, along a babbling creek and through a mossy forest, to a large alpine lake with a couple of nice campsites in the beautiful Goat Rocks Wilderness.

Drive west three miles from Packwood on SR 12, then south five miles on Forest Road 21, parking at its junction with Forest Road 2110, which has been closed to cars by a washout.
on the trail
The first half mile of the hiking route is on Road 2110. It then becomes a trail, dropping down to Glacier Creek, which it follows through a rain forest to Glacier Lake, 2.5 miles from the road junction.
