- The bridge is washed out at 1.9 miles. You will need to wade across Clearwater Creek.
- For more Mount St. Helen experience, consider combining this hike with Harmony Falls (2.4 mile2, 650 feet), the only hike to Spirit Lake, and/or Windy Ridge Lookout (3.0 mile, 600 feet) where you can look down into Mount St. Helens crater.
