Fraser Valley (British Columbia)

Visit one of North America's largest gatherings of bald eagles converging on spawning salmon in the Fraser Valley from November through January, with peak eagle numbers reaching between 1000 and over 2000 during late November to early January.

 The gathering of eagles and spawning salmon offer phenomenol spectacles of nature at several viewing sites along the Chehalis and Harrison Rivers, and Harrison Bay in the Lower Fraser Valley. See some of the 100s of trumpeter swans and other waterfowl also wintering in area. Fraser Valley Bald Eagle Festival is scheduled for November 17-18, 2012.
