This is the public dock on the southwest side of Tacoma's Foss Waterway. This dock is accessible via ramps in front of the Rock the Dock Pub & Grill and the Foss Waterway Seaport. Parking is available in the paid lot between the two buildings at 635 Dock St, Tacoma, WA 98402. Free street parking is also available.
Our Tacoma sailing program uses this location for dockside orientation course activities. It allows students to gain experience with sailboats of different sizes and configurations—wheel vs. tiller, roller furling vs. no roller furling, etc.
