Deception Pass State Park Campsite
Deception Pass State Park provides camping with easy access to great sea kayaking and some hiking. This Place is for the activity of group camping, not for any kayaking or hiking trips.
Spanning two islands and connected by a series of iconic bridges, Deception Pass features a mix of rugged ocean cliffs and quiet old growth forests. Best known for its panoramic views and jaw-dropping sunsets, this park is a go-to for locals and international travelers alike. When camping a Discover Pass is not required, but the campsite registration must be shown in the vehicle windshield.
Camping is available on Whidbey Island at the Group Site (just inside the main entrance), Quarry Pond (opposite the main entrance on the other side of HWY 20), and in Lower Loops A & B, and the Forrest Loop. On Fidalgo Island there is another campsite at Bowman Bay. Several camp-areas are closed during the winter season. RV sites are available. There are reservable cabins at Quarry Pond.
Day-use shelters can be reserved, but must be vacated by dusk.
