Colonial Creek Campground
In heart of North Cascades National Park this campground is a remote, yet bustling campground nestled in old growth forest on Diablo Lake at the base of the impressively glaciated Colonial Peak. There are two campsite loops, one on the north side and one of the south side of State Route 20, the North Cascades Highway.
Getting There
Drive SR-20 to near Milepost 130, 25 miles east of Marblemount and 63 miles west of Winthrop. The campground is just west of the the bridge across Diablo Lake (12,00 ft).
About the Campground
Colonial Creek Campground is divided into two loops The north loop has 41 campsites and the south loop has 94 campsites. There are a variety of campsites, most are standard nonelectric, some are tent only, and some are hike to/walk to.
