Chehalis River Discovery Trail

An easy 3.5 mile round trip walk through a beautiful riparian zone along the Chehalis River. It is at the north end of the proposed 6-mile Chelahalis River Walk from Borst Park. It is a peaceful walk along the river as well as a great spot for birding—everything from swallows to eagles.

Getting there

Take Exit 82 off of I-5 and drive Harrison Ave west through its intersection with Galvin Rd and continue 1.5 miles and turn left onto Goodrich Rd. Drive Goodrich Rd to its end and the parking lot just past the wastewater treatment plant.

on the trail

Walk from the parking lot to the trail along the river's edge that heads north and south. Hike out-and-back either direction and then the other.
