Camano Island State Park
Enjoy hiking, biking, exploring tidepools, camping, and sweeping views of Puget Sound, Mount Rainier and the Olympic Mountains at a 244-acre state park near Everett and about an hour from Seattle. It has over a mile of rocky shoreline and beaches, three miles of forested hiking trails, and a reservable shelter holding up to 44 people in the shelter.
getting there
Take Exit 212 off of I-5 and turn left onto SR-532. Drive 9.8 miles, stay left at the Y, drive 8 more miles and turn right onto Mountain View Road. Drive 2 miles, turn left onto Lowell Point Rd, and drive 0.7 mile the park. There is a large day-use parking area, picnic tables, and restrooms.

Scheduling
- If you are scheduling this as a non-course related activity, please limit your group size to the recommended party size. The maximum party size is for use by course field trips only, and includes both students and instructors. Group size maximums do not reflect how course field trips are run (in smaller groups of students and instructors), but allow for course leaders to register the course in our system.

- The Mountaineers has a commercial use permit with Washington State Parks for all free and fee-based outings at state parks. Leaders should carry a print or digital copy of our commercial use permit to show rangers they may encounter.
