Burnout Knob
A roughly 7-8 mile hike with approximately 1700-2000 feet of gain depending on routing. Leads to a logged area with sweeping views of the San Juans. An additional viewpoint provides easterly views of the Twins and Mt Baker.
This scenic ridgetop can be approached either from Fragrance Lake or Lost Lake trailheads, via a southerly route up the Fragrance Lake service road to a DNR logging road, or a northern route up the South Lost Lake trail and logging roads.
