on the water and on the island

Hope Island State Park is one of the jewels of the south sound.  The island park features a Cascade Marine Trail camp as well as a number of individual park campsites.  A trail network on the island offers a walk through varied old growth forest. During extreme low tides (below ~2 ft), a reef east of the island uncovers providing fascinating marine life viewing.
