Blue Lake Peak
The route travels through old growth timber transitioning to alpine vegetation, and on to open rock and snow slopes. This is a unique summit providing views N to Liberty Bell, NE to Silver Star Mt., SE to Kangaroo Temple, S to Stiletto Pk., W to Corteo & Black Peaks, and NW to Cutthroat Pk. Blue Lake Peak is 1 mile east of Blue Lake and 0.7 mile south of South Early Winter Spire.

This is a great location to get a taste of the North Cascades. There is a 360-degree view of the area with 100's of peaks visible on a clear day. This is also in the transition zone between western and eastern Washington. It's greener and wetter to the south and west. While it is browner and drier to the north and east.
