Asbestos Creek
Asbestos Creek is a beautiful canyon on the south slopes of Jumbo Mountain in the Baker Snoqualmie National Forest. It is an intermediate canyon with steep terrain, back-to-back rappels, long pitches, and stunning views.
Asbestos Creek is a full-day trip with 18 rappels. The canyon is overall fairly open, but steep and committing. Canyoneers descending Asbestos should be confident, efficient rappellers and fit enough for the steep approach and long day.
