Ape Canyon (Mount Saint Helens)
A High pay-to-play, Technical Intermediate canyon. A narrow and extremely-committing majestic gorge. Ape Canyon can be run in a very long day by a strong, efficient team. Team members should be dialed on efficient anchor-building using a minimum of materials. It's good to start early, hiking up in the dark, then dropping into the canyon at first light.
