I love this peak -3/10/15, another low snow year.

Several people I know did this peak recently which inspired me to post it.  We will need to leave early for the 2-2.5 hour drive to the trailhead so be prepared for a long day and dinner afterwards.  The pace will be on the slower side of moderate, but we'll need to continue moving steadily.   No snowshoes, but crampons and other usual scrambling gear will be required.

PLEASE sign up only if you're fairly sure of going and you've done similar length and elevation gain trips recently and comfortable in some steeper terrain.  It was stated getting to X-Mtn required facing in downclimbing.  Thank you

Estimated mileage per Caltopo using Mountaineer, Sean Mathias 4/26/26 GPX track to both peaks - 11.71mi/4114' gain.  Their track showed 7hrs 48min, but he's fast so expect at least 2 hours longer if we do both peaks.  His track is on Peakbaggers.

More information will be sent to participants by Thursday.

8am at the TH, but we will decide on carpools depending on who's coming.  NW Forest Parking Pass required.
