If we go to West French Cabin Mountain, the round trip distance is 12 - 17 miles, depending on how far in toward the trail head we can drive and on whether we include Thomas Mountain on the return loop.  Almost the entire route is on trails.  Much of the lower trails will likely be snow-free.
