Urban Walk - Union Bay Natural Area
Late afternoon loop walk along Union Bay and the UW Boathouse/Husky Stadium, Montlake Cut and the UW Campus/Quad. Many things to see on a likely dry day with some sun. Let's explore our city. There are several flights of stairs and accompanying gain to climb up to campus. 5.2 miles, 375' gain.

Fun, varied and interesting walk. Participants need to be able to walk 2.5 MPH and ascend a long stairway. We will be returning at dusk. Sunset is 4:50 PM.
Meet 2:30 PM at the Center for Urban Horticulture. 3863 Union Bay Cir NE, Seattle, WA 98105. Parking at the Center for Urban horticulture is free though somewhat limited with additional street parking available. Please find the free parking area and read all the signs and prohibitions. Come early incase you need to park on the street. There are many buildings at the Center. Let's meet at the far western building -- the entrance to the Elizabeth C. Miller Library. Getting There
In Seattle, head east on NE 45th Street from the University of Washington to the intersection with NE 41st Street. Take a right onto NE 41st Street, and after about 0.25 miles turn right onto 37th Avenue NE. The Urban Horiculture Center will be at the end of the road.

Water, snacks, appropriate outerwear, and sturdy shoes.
