We will meet at the pedestrian railroad overpass at 2pm.
It doesn't matter what kind of camera you have or if you just use your smartphone. Anytime you practice taking photos, you learn something new and get more proficient!
We will explore the beach are on the other side of the railroad tracks, perhaps experimenting with slower shutter speeds to make the water/waves smooth (tripod suggested). If we stay long enough, we might capture the sunset over the water.
We will also walk along Piper Creek, stopping to take photos of fall colors, fallen leaves, ducks, and anything else that catches our fancy. You might want to practice taking close-up shots, or doing more landscape photography. The choice is yours and your leaders are here to help!
Since it's the rainy season, always be prepared by bringing a raincoat, hat (or a hat umbrella), and something to protect your camera (it can be as simple as a clear plastic bag with a hole cut out for the lens or one of these ideas).
Required Equipment
Water, snacks, appropriate outerwear and sturdy shoes.
