Frontcountry Trail Run - Grand Prospect

An after work fun run with our 2-legged and 4-legged friends

  • Moderate, Strenuous
  • Moderate
  • Mileage: 8.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 2,150 ft

Snoqualmie Pt TH.  Be ready to run at 5 pm.

Rattlesnake Ridge is a great place to run.  OK, sure, it's an out and back and those can be boring but there are some beautiful stretches on this trail.  That, combined with the overall runability make this a great destination IMO.

There will be places where the gradient is not super steep and we will run those when we can, fast hike them when we can't (fast hiking is a skill that needs practice!).  For sure we will be able to run back to the cars from GP.

It's going to be a little cool Tuesday and once the sun drops it will be even cooler so dress appropriately.  Sunset is before 6:30 now so you will need a headlamp.

Just to be clear, my Vizsla will be joining us.  He is an accomplished runner and a great trail companion.  You are welcome to bring your pup as well so long as it is friendly and is capable of this run.
