The first Saturday of June is recognized as National Trails Day, we celebrate the benefits of federal, state and local recreation that gets us out in nature. The Olympia Mountaineers have been actively participating in giving back to nature through their continued commitment in conservation and stewardship. Please join us on this nationally recognized day of caring for our trails.

Olympia Mountaineers have been maintaining the Church Creek trail for years. Please come out to see what makes this trail special.  We will have lot's of trees to take off trail so if you are interested in getting some "saw time in" please come out.

Tree bucking will be supervised under B certified National Crosscut Sawyers.

Other work will include raking, brushing, pruning, tread work, and drainage repair.

There is no snow on the trail and tons of wildflowers starting to come out.

Anyone driving will need preferably a high clearance vehicle as the 600 spur line off the 2361 has several deep water bars and can pose a challenge to low clearance vehicles.

Drivers will be needed as parking is limited at the trail head. Please communicate whether you will need a ride or you can drive.
