Burrows and Allan islands is one of my favorite paddles. The setting is beautiful and the environment is interesting. This trip is one more of a series of winter paddles here.
It is winter, so conditions can be quite varied. I've allowed up to 30kt winds. Most likely, it will be calmer than that. Please anticipate winds up to 15kt for at least sections of the trip. If wind and waves are stronger than that, we'll still go, but modify the route for more protection and an opportunity to practice in the rougher conditions.
