This is the second of two trips to explore inlets and islands in the South Sound.
We will head southwest into Totten Inlet, then head west into Little Skookum Inlet at Barron Point. We will explore as far into the inlet as we can. Hopefully we will have some good wildlife viewing opportunities. We will have lunch in Little Skookum before heading back to Arcadia.
You must be comfortable paddling in winter conditions where wind/waves can be a factor. Dry suit required.
Meet at Arcadia Point boat launch with enough time to launch by 8:30. No pass required to park. This is a launch used commercially for fishing, so plan on dropping your kayak off then clearing the ramp for other users.
