Silver Salmon are jumping, just waiting to get up Chico Creek. Chum Salmon are starting to show up as well.
(This trip has been postponed from last Sunday.) Our plan is to paddle on a traverse to Anna Smith Park, but if conditions are marginal, we'll skip crossing and paddle up the shoreline directly to the Chico Creek.
Meet at the Port of Silverdale, 8886 McConnell Ave, Silverdale, WA. This is next to the Silverdale Waterfront Park Meet at 9:00am, launch around 9:45am. Restrooms in the parking lot.
Bring at least a snack; hopefully we are back at the launch for a late lunch.
