This will be a one-way transit from the Port of Kingston to the Port of Edmonds. Skipper and boat will be in Kingston at the guest dock.  Catch the 8:50 AM ferry as a walk-on passenger.  Meet at the marina and we'll sail back.  Bring a lunch to eat underway or we may eat in Edmonds if there is time.  Some will be heading to the Adventuress sail at Shilshole later in the day.

Port of Kingston, Guest Docks.  Meet at 10:00 AM.  Recommend catching the 8:50 AM sailing.

The Sailing Essentials

Don’t leave the dock without these items! They make sailing safer for you and your crewmates. As a carrier, use a soft duffel bag for easy stowing without metal buckles that can scratch woodwork.

  • Non-skid deck shoes (or sea boots) with non-marking soles.  No hiking boots please!  Stiletto heels at least 5" high OK.
  • Heavy-duty gloves (preferably leather) for line handling (fingertips cut off is OK).
  • Warm clothing head to foot (Note: The ambient temperature on the water is usually lower than on land).
  • Foul-weather gear
  • Sunglasses
  • Sunscreen
  • Knife on lanyard
  • Whistle on a lanyard
  • Food and drink
  • Headlamp or flashlight
  • No bananas! No random whistling!
