This will be an easy-going hike up Ingalls Creek about 5.3 miles to the Falls Creek campsite.

The Ingalls Creek Trail features a variety of scenery that includes big pines, boulder fields, granite cliffs, old-growth and occasional views of the mighty Stuart Range. The primary attraction in late spring is the proliferation of wildflowers, some of which are uncommon. Be prepared for the cool breezes that flow down the valley and carry an extra layer.

  • For food storage: Bear Canister or Ursack is ok
  • Outhouse available at Falls Creek campsite
  • Water source is available at the campsite.
  • No river crossing

Meeting place and time

We will meet at the Ingalls Creek Trailhead on Friday morning at 9:30 am.  Everyone should be packed and ready to hit the trail by 10 am.

A parking pass is required for each vehicle parking at the Ingalls Creek Trailhead. Either a Northwest Forest Pass OR an Interagency pass – America the Beautiful pass is sufficient. Carpooling is encouraged.
