Glacier Ski/Snowboard - Paradise Glacier
Skin up to Camp Muir and down the Paradise Glacier. As the name suggests, the Paradise Glacier is a glacier, so glacier travel skills/experience are a requirement.

We will skin up the usual Camp Muir climbing route (Pan Face followed by the interminable moderate angle snowfield) to Camp Muir. At Camp Muir, we'll rip skins, put on our harnesses, and then descend along skier's left to around ~9200' below Anvil Rock then turn left to ski down the glacier. From there, we'll make our way across the flatter terrain at the toe of the Glacier to the Golden Gate and follow whatever line looks good to get back to the TH.
The Paradise Glacier has meaningful crevasses, so glacier travel knowledge and experience is required for this trip. (I will check your profile for a Basic Alpine or equivalent prior to registering you for the trip.) Leaders will bring ropes and rescue gear, so participants only need harness, prusiks (or other rope ascension method), and enough draws/carabiners to be able to handle dropping their gear in the event they fall into a crevasse.
We'll move at a brisk (but not FKT...) pace of around 4h to get up to Camp Muir and stay ahead of the softening snow.
7AM, ready to skin from the TH at Paradise.
