Day Hike - Wonderland Trail

15 Miles on the Wonderland Trail from Sunrise to Winthrop Creek (and return) .

  • Mileage: 15.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 4,000 ft

 Meeting at Sunrise Visitor Center (front steps) at 6:00 am.  Recommend staying at White River Campground on Wednesday night (September 27).

    This will be a late season day hike at elevations up to 6,800 feet.   The pace will be brisk.  We have 15 miles to cover and about 3,800 feet of elevation gain/loss.

    There may be snow on the trail in places.  Winter navigation and hiking skills may be required.
