Try out West Tiger #1 with me on this slower loop conditioning trip.

  • Elevation Gain: 2,450 ft
  • High Point Elevation: 3,000 ft
  • Pace: 1.5 to 1.75 mph, hike as a group

7:45 am at the gate east of the intersection of SE 79th Street and 270th Ave SE (Exit 20 High Point off of I-90). Be ready to hike at 8am.

Discover Pass required to park. Roadside parking only.

Let's work together to check off the Tiger summits over the winter and spring! This trip will be new for me so let's explore it and have some fun navigating. Trail conditions will likely be muddy and slippery with a possibility of snow on the trail at higher elevations. Microspikes may be required depending on conditions. 

Expected route to summit: SE 79th St->High Point Trail-> Preston Power Line Trail -> Lingering Trail ->Dwight's Way-> Preston Trail ->Bootleg Trail-> Tiger #1 Summit.

Loop is expected to be completed via Preston Trail -> West Tiger RR Grade -> Tiger Mountain Trail -> High Point Trail. 

Please consider a different trip if you are looking for a faster pace as I like to enjoy the scenery and my surroundings while I hike.
