This is a very pleasant hike through sheltering old growth forest, past beautiful Talapus Lake enroute to our lunch stop at scenic Olallie Lake.  There is a restroom at the trailhead and there are outhouses at Talapus Lake (2 miles in) and Olallie Lake.  Each car must display a Northwest Forest Pass, or the equivalent, at the trailhead.

Meet at 10 AM at the Talapus Lake trailhead parking lot at Lookout Point.
