Kids and families won't want to miss this gem of a stroll along a forested trail to a pebbled beachfront.

  • Easy
  • Casual
  • Mileage: 4.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 200 ft

Meet at the Martin Way Park & Ride in Lacey at 9:30a for a 9:45a departure. This will give us a chance to introduce ourselves and finalize carpooling arrangements.

Estimated arrival at 10a at the DuPont Civic Center Parking lot to assemble with anyone coming from the north. We'll hit the trail as soon as we're all together!

This is the first of two mentored hikes for Jaq Morrill.

Families should come prepared with their Ten Essentials plus kid essentials! Those might include  their IDs, their own water and snacks, spare clothes, rain gear and—if they have them—their Mountaineers passports.
