Welcome to Weighted Wednesdays-a social way to get in some mid-week training.  The purpose is to gradually train your body to carry your full backpack weight.

This is also a good opportunity to trial shoes and see how your backpack feels over time.  We always welcome any backpacking/hiking questions.

Please check and bring your headlamps (Part of 10Es)

If you just want to come for a walk…that is fine too.

We will warm ourselves up on the former PLU golf course that has been converted to walking and cross-country running trails. In the spring this area is filled with native camas on the prairie lands and it waves as a sea of purple. Once we're warmed up, we'll hit some hills and stairs around campus and enjoy the beauty of the historic buildings.

5:30pm at 129th & Yakima Ave entrance. Free shoulder parking available. Additional free parking at Parkland Prairie about a block away.
