Expectations:
We will be hiking part or all of the trail at a leisurely place and will be stopping often to take photos of the wildflowers. The goal is to get good photos, not to complete the trail in a given time limit. We will spend 2-3 hours.
I plan to drive down on the 14th and camp at the Iron Creek campground.
Meet at the trailhead at 8 a.m. We will depart promptly at 8:15 a.m.
From State Highway 12 in Randle, take Hwy 131S south for 2.8 miles to FR 25. Continue on FR 25 for another 24.3 miles to the junction with FR 99. Turn right onto FR 99 towards Windy Ridge. Drive approximately 9.2 miles to FR 26 and turn right. The Norway Pass Trailhead will be .09 miles on your left on FR 26.
