Be aware that even though this is only a 7 mile hike, the  "up" portion is challenging because you will do 2000ft elevation in 2 miles.  We will use the best maintained "unmaintained"  trail to go up - the Nook Trail to West 3.  Then we will hike part way to West 2 with the goal of visiting a memorial to Joe then go back to West for a longer break in the seating area in the trees for a snack break.  Then we will go down West 3 trail to Section line to visit the Talus rocks which are very cool; then down further to the Bus trail to Tradition Lake trail and then back to the trailhead.  I find this a very enjoyable wandering hike.  :-)

Meet at High Point Trailhead to Tiger at 8am.
